Pink liquid (resembled like blood) drips out from the "plant" before it stands upright as its face begins to change. Both of them soon witness the "plant" impaling itself with the triangle. The plants are introduced in the Paradise world, where one green plant introduces the player to the world of Paradise.Īt the world's path, inside a cavern, both the player and the friend encounter a "plant", seemingly cold and different from the rest of the plants encountered so far. This face can also be seen at the beginning of a level in Hardcore Mode, it has all of the features except its stalk and teeth. Their eyes also change, with its eyes being equal of their size.
This face itself now has a smile along with three triangles of teeth, with two teeth at the top and one below it. What rises up, it is now a "boss" corrupted plant with a different face. The heads drops down and submerges below the lava. They do not seem to be affected by the pink waters, as they're likely adapted to it.ĭuring Lycanthropy, after using its four heads to attack to the player. Their face only has two eyes, with their right eye bigger than the other, as if it is "bleeding". Their appearance is the same as the "plant" seen earlier, except their color is pink and they now have two circles as hands (with the three circles at the top removed). This event soon starts the sequence of events that take place in Just Shapes & Beats's storyline.įrom Island and onward, most of the plants take on an altered, "corrupted" or "evil" appearance after the Boss's rampage earlier. Once it stands upright, it grins evilly and soon, the "plant" itself is actually the Boss's arm and hand.
When the "plant" impales itself with the triangle later on (similar to the Boss impaling itself with a corrupt piece of the Tree at the end of the game), it appears to have pink liquid dripping from its head, as if it is bleeding. This does not have hands, unlike its friendly counterpart. This plant takes on the appearance just like every other plant, except it uses a maverick or light purple color, it has pointy spikes rather than curved spikes and has three circles above its head. Their face always appears to smile, except in dangerous or painful situations in which it turns into a frown or grimace. It has two small circles that represent hands, and they wave or wiggle occasionally. The plants take on an appearance of a blue or green stalked flower or cactus, comprised of four circles with eight rounded spikes spaced evenly, progressively growing smaller further down the plant with the top one significantly larger as the head.
